Barley Mow Springtime Festival

Our first Springtime beer festival!

Live music Friday night and throughout Saturday and lots of amazing real ales to try.

There will also be a craft gin and cider bar and a yummy hog roast to soak up all the beer!

We put our Hunters Moon Beer Festival on in October and it went down a treat and we always thought we would hold a spring version.

So put it in your diary folks!

Cornish Pasty Week

Cornish Pasty Week is returning for the third time – and will this year be helping support people without a permanent home.

Running from 23 to 29 February, the week includes the World’s Fastest Crimper competition and finishes with the World Pasty Championships, at the Eden Project.

The Cornish pasties made at the World’s Fastest Crimper competition will be given to Coastline Housing’s Homeless Service at Pool. And Cornish Pasty Week supporter Towergate Insurance will be supplying St Petroc’s soup kitchens with pasties during the week.

Sepsis Fundraiser

A charity event to raise money for Sepsis.

We will be selling cakes, cards, we will have a magician, face painting plus much more

Coven Spring Fair

This event is the perfect time to shop for Mother’s Day gifts, or find something special for yourself.

There will be over 30 stalls featuring unique and handmade items for sale from high quality sellers, as well as the return of the pop-up tea room that will be selling teas and coffees alongside light snacks.

CAMRA Winter Ales Festival

CAMRA’s Winter Ales Festival comes to the West Midlands for a few years.

“A Festival of a Thousand Trades”, celebrating the West Midlands’ industry, diversity, and creativity throughout time. 

This theme will define the drinks on offer, which will include a range of spirits and non-alcoholic options to accompany over 400 beers, ciders and perries that will represent the region, the wider United Kingdom, and beyond. Alongside the drinks, the festival will feature games and activities, musical entertainment, a range of mouth-watering food stalls, and a selection of tastings and talks for those looking to expand their horizons further.

Beaujolais Nouveau Day

Beaujolais Nouveau Day is marked in France on the third Thursday in November with fireworks, music and festivals. Under French law, the wine is released at 12:01 a.m., just weeks after the wine’s grapes have been harvested. Parties are held throughout the country and further afield to celebrate the first wine of the season.

Sherry Tasting

Sherry Much WenlockAs part of International Sherry Week, join the Friends of Holy Trinity Much Wenlock on an evening journey through the wonderful region of Jerez-Xeres-Sherry. Local expert, Will Willis, will guide you through a tasting of 7 different styles of wine from the world famous region in Andalucia, southern Spain. Canapes will be matched with each wine.

Admission is by ticket only, available from Croft Design or The Linden Tree, Much Wenlock, Shropshire.

Ramada Wedding Fayre

The stunning Ramada Resort Park Hall Hotel on Park Drive in Wolverhampton is hosting a Wedding Fayre on Sunday 29th September and free entry is from 11am to 4pm.

Ramada OrangeryGuests will be able to take a tour of the elegant Grade II listed Georgian Mansion, which has 74 bedrooms and is set amongst five acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, which features a stunning pagoda and a helipad.

There will be a number of award-winning exhibitors at the event including décor specialists and florists, hair and makeup artists, food and cake suppliers, photographers and photobooth hire companies, ensuring couples can personalise their unique day and make their wedding day dreams come true.

The Ramada Resort Park Hall Hotel is licensed for both indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies and has capacity for up to 550 guests, and boasts over 300 free parking spaces, making it perfect for weddings of all sizes.

Anju’s restaurant, which is situated at the hotel, will be providing samples from its exquisite menu throughout the day, alongside other food and drink retailers who will be sharing canapes, mocktails and cocktails, candy floss and milkshakes to name a few.

The hotel spa team will be showcasing the relaxing treatments available onsite and providing Elemis product samples.
