English Wine Week is a national campaign, designed to raise awareness of English wine across the country. There are a wide range of activities which take place across the country to celebrate English Wine Week, involving both retail and leisure outlets, and at the vineyards themselves.
English Wine Week starts over Spring Bank Holiday which is also half term holiday for most schools. It marks the start of the tourist season, and the vineyards themselves are waking up to the new growing season – there is plenty to see and enjoy.
On the last Wednesday of every month from 5pm- 11pm there is a street food event for ALL the family to come along and enjoy.
The Lichfield Grub Club is back in the Market Square (it sometimes is based around the Cathedral).
We’ve got fabulous music, comedy and street food.

Diabetes Week takes place in June every year. It’s a time when our supporters come together to share their stories and to raise awareness of diabetes.
Talking about diabetes can be tricky, awkward, difficult, funny, and everything in between. From telling someone you’ve just met about your diabetes, to trying to explain carb counting to relatives or avoiding that conversation with your doctor.
This Diabetes Week, we want to make it easier for you to have those conversations, with your doctor, your friends and family, and people you’ve just met. We want to get you talking.
