FOOD, FOOD, FOOD…
Our festival is all about artisans, so we’ve invited some of Shropshire’s finest craftspeople to exhibit their wares.
You’ll be able to ‘have-a-go’ at baking and learn some of the skills that local food producers use day-in and day-out to make scrumptious food. Some of our finest chefs will stage demonstrations; where you can see how they create their award-winning dishes.
A lovely festival in a lovely location, with lots happening around the town too.

This year, Colmore Food Festival is set to take place on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th July from 11am to 8pm on Friday and 11am to 7pm on Saturday.
The hospitality scene in Colmore Business District has gone from strength to strength; when we held our first festival back in 2010, we had just15 businesses exhibiting. Fast-forward to 2018, we will expect to have around 35 of our fantastic venues showcasing their talents. Once again we’ll see a great mix of cafes, bakeries, restaurants and bars that are all based here in the District.
We always cap the price of food at £4 so you can sample tasty dishes from more than one venue. There’s so much variety from Thai food, American classics, Chinese to Michelin star food and so much more.
Whilst the main focus of the festival is on the food, we’ll also have a great variety of wine, champagne, cocktails and artisan coffees.
There will be entertainment galore to add to the atmosphere, with a full programme of street theatre, live music and bands from all around the West Midlands.
Bringing together a selection of the UK’s finest street food traders with the best of our local chefs, restaurants and bars, we’ll be featuring a huge selection of cuisines to whet any appetite together with craft beers and ciders, cocktails, gins, a champagne & prosecco bar, fresh juices & much, much more
Our unique urban food village will run across Wulfruna Street, the Civic Centre Mayoral car park, St Peter’s car park and the pedestrian area outside the University of Wolverhampton’s Ambika Paul building. A main stage will feature live entertainment throughout the day including a host of live bands, comedians, acoustic and choral performances and a family area containing an open air cinema and traditional carnival stalls.
